Gadsden Flag - 3' x 5' Polyester
The rattlesnake was the favorite animal emblem of the Americans even before the Revolution. It is native to the Americas - does not attack unless provoked, gives a warning, but it is deadly to step upon one. The emerging colonies felt this way about their relationship with Great Britain. There were many rattlesnake emblems used during the American Revolution. This design is credited to Colonel Gadsden of South Carolina and bears his name.
